Composio is a developer-first integration platform that gives AI agents access to 1,000+ pre-built toolkits/connectors, managed authentication, tool search, context management, and a sandboxed environment.

  • Six-month engagement: December 2025-June 2026
  • Services: SEO, GEO, Programmatic SEO, Link Building

The Opportunity

Composio already had a strong search foundation and established authority, with a Domain Rating of 64.

The opportunity was to build on that foundation and capture more of the search demand around its category. Much of Composio's organic visibility was concentrated around branded and documentation-related searches, while commercial queries such as alternatives, comparisons, product-led queries and category terms offered room to grow.

At the same time, AI assistants were becoming another way for developers to research and compare tools. Composio had an opportunity to strengthen its presence in those answers alongside its traditional search visibility.

We worked with Composio to expand that visibility across both search and AI.

Our Approach

Our response was not to pick between authority-building, content, and AI optimisation, but to run all of them in parallel, with link building and pSEO compounding every content and GEO investment.

Link building

The link-building programme focused on relevant editorial placements across the developer, SaaS, and AI ecosystem.

Over the engagement, the Domain Rating increased from 64 to 74.

Content SEO

Content covered the buyer journey, from developer-focused informational searches through commercial comparison terms, down to transactional, product-evaluation searches. The deliberate focus on bottom-of-funnel terms is what turned traffic growth into pipeline growth.

Programmatic SEO

Composio's extensive library of toolkits and integration use cases created an opportunity to address long-tail searches at scale.

We developed structured page formats around integration, tool, and comparison queries, expanding Composio's coverage across relevant searches. This is the primary reason for the growth in impressions and the surge in indexed, cited pages.

GEO

AEO became part of the search strategy as AI-generated answers became an increasingly important discovery channel for developers.

We focused on making Composio’s content easier for AI systems to understand and cite, with a focus on the bottom-of-funnel topics that shape tool shortlists.

The Results

Six months of work produced measurable growth across organic search, high-intent queries, and AI visibility.

3x organic clicks

Organic clicks increased from 250K to 754K compared with the previous six-month period. Organic impressions grew from 12.4M to 55.9M, while average position improved from 9.2 to 7.2.

74 Domain Rating

Composio's Domain Rating increased from 64 to 74 during the engagement, alongside substantial growth in referring domains and backlinks.

2.2x BOFU clicks

Clicks for commercial, high-intent searches increased from 1.8K to 3.94K, while average position improved from 16.7 to 7.9.

The increase in high-intent organic traffic translated into a roughly 3× increase in conversions from organic search, connecting search growth more closely to product consideration.

Approx. 18x AI citations

Tracked AI citations grew from fewer than 10 to roughly 180 across major LLM platforms. 447.1K total AI citations and 240 average cited pages over the period, on a steep, sustained upward curve.

Visibility across core BOFU themes also increased from under 7% to 24%.

What Changed for Composio

The engagement helped Composio extend their search presence.

  • Organic search expanded beyond its branded and documentation footprint.
  • Programmatic pages broadened coverage across integration and long-tail searches, while link building strengthened the authority supporting that content.
  • GEO added another route for Composio to appear when developers turned to AI tools during product research.

The biggest shift was in the overlap between visibility and intent. Composio gained ground on commercial searches where developers and product teams were actively comparing tools, while also becoming more visible in the AI answers shaping those decisions.

Also, the +10 DR move widens the moat. Every future page now ranks faster and is more likely to be cited.

Why it Worked

  • One connected search strategy.
Links, content, pSEO, and GEO were run as a single compounding programme, each multiplying the others rather than competing for budget.
  • A focus on buying intent.
Greater focus on commercial and bottom-of-funnel searches helped turn organic growth into stronger conversion lift.
  • A head start in AI search.
GEO gave Composio a stronger presence in AI-generated answers as this became an increasingly important part of product discovery.

Over six months, Composio expanded its existing search foundation into a broader acquisition channel.
